In-Home Consultation
Our In-Home Consultation is a working meeting where we develop the scope of work and begin to develop a budget for your project. This is the beginning of the design process and probably one of the most important time we will spend with you.
The consultation will take place in your home or office this will allow us to learn about you, take visual inventory, and collect data to establish the scope of the project, time constraints, priorities, design style and requirements. We encourage you to ask as many questions as possible during this meeting.
The In-Home Consultation includes
- Defining the budget
- Paint color options
- Discuss a preliminary budget
- Discuss the project timeline
- Window Treatment & Lighting ideas
- Styling tips and ideas for vignettes
- Answer all your questions
- Recommended furniture layout and new pieces
- Review our design process, how we work and what to expect
- Walk through of your home: discussing each room’s function and existing furniture
- Review questionnaire and inspiration photos to clarify your needs and objectives for the space
The above is a sample list of that may be discussed at the consultation, each client & their needs are unique and so are the topics we will discuss.
Please note: During the consultation we will not do any design work, select specific materials or furniture, or re-arrange your furniture. Everything will be verbal and theoretical, encourage you to take notes during the meeting. The consultation is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, and an opportunity to discuss initial ideas that will be develop later in the design process to fit your needs and lifestyle.
