About ‘Tops in Tarrant Awards’
The ‘Tops in Tarrant’ Awards were selected by the readers of Society Life Magazine. Winning businesses were selected based on their commitment to their clients, their core values and their effective leadership in their respective industries. Local residents were asked to make suggestions for the top local leaders of each of the 20 industry categories.
The top 20 industry categories were selected by Society Life Magazine and local residents were randomly chosen from the magazine’s monthly mailing list to receive a survey asking them to suggest the top local leaders in each of the 20 industry categories. Residents were selected from Southlake (76092), Colleyville (76034), Alliance/Fort Worth (76244), Keller (76248), North Richland Hills (76182) and Westlake/Trophy Club (76262).
There were only 5 nominations allowed in each category, making up the total 100 Best in the Industry. As each business was only allowed to be listed in a single category, duplicate listings were evaluated by Society Life editorial staff who decided which category was the most suitable for that business.
The top 5 nominees in each category were the leading businesses who received the most votes totaled across the resident surveys.
